Brief: Create an in-app feature that capitalizes on Gen Z's digital connectivity while translating to meaningful, real life experiences.
How it works:
Airbnb guests who want to connect with other travelers join the “buddies” feature of the Airbnb app. Users will explore the various activties and options the area has to offer and choose which one they want a buddy to experience it with.
How it works:
AirbnBuddies will then search for other travelers in the area that have selected the same activity and invite you to start a chat.
Safety Features:
AirbnBuddies will never use your real location- only an area approximation and location services will be disabled when the app is not in use. Additionally, you must have a verified profile and Airbnb reservation to access this feature.
How it works:
Users can then chat with other guests in their area and make plans together.
This feature is within the Airbnb app but, as the program grows, it can become its own app.
